The Marriage Builder Retreat is designed for couples wanting to invest dedicated time in developing their marriage relationship in specific ways (examples include: reconnecting during empty nest years, improving communication and conflict resolution, addressing sexual problems, etc.).
The Marriage Saver Retreat is designed for couples wanting to urgently address major areas of concern within their marriage relationship (examples include: affair recovery, avoiding divorce, rebuilding trust, pornography recovery).
Counseling Approaches
Dr. Heath Lisenby approaches counseling from the Christian worldview. As clients are open to Christian counseling, Dr. Lisenby will use Bible passages, biblical and theological explanations/principles for understanding and dealing with life issues, encourage prayer, and provide guidance for Christian spiritual growth and development.
